About Us

Recognizing that we all lead busy, productive lives and strive for simplicity and enjoyment, we offer Traffic Survival School with this philosophy in mind. Our classes are designed to fit seamlessly into your schedule. We provide flexible solutions to meet your needs. 8-hours throughout the week, and in two 4-hour sessions, evening options and weekend classes. Classes are offered virtually via Zoom with a one time waiver obtained from ADOT. (When scheduling a virtual class, factor in the time for the workbook to be picked up or mailed).

As individuals, how can we cultivate simplicity in our lives? What intentional choices can we make to promote order and peace? By prioritizing efficiency, mindfulness, and meaningful connections, we can create a life that feels less encumbered and more fulfilling by making effective and responsible choices.

Traffic Survival School reviews the basic rules of the road but also aids in analyzing why choices are made. Our instructors stand behind the message and encourage drivers to take ownership of hazardous driving behavior while behind the wheel.

FAQs

Do I have to go to Traffic Survival School (TSS) even though I have already paid the fine for running a red light?

YES. When you pay the fine, the Court sends the conviction information to MVD. This conviction is a two-point violation. If convicted of a red light violation, the person must attend a TSS class. If Defensive Driving Class (DDC) is taken instead of paying the fine or going before the Judge, then TSS class is not required.

How do I pay for the class?

You can pay for class using Zelle (602-662-9453), cash, money order, or credit/debit card (https://pay.roadready-tss.com/mvd-class). Personal checks are not accepted.

If I did not receive my letter in time, and my license is suspended what will happen once I take this class?
Once you have completed your 8-hour class and received your Certificate of Completion, you will be eligible to apply for reinstatement of your license online at azmvdnow.gov or at any MVD location. Please be sure to retain the Certificate of Completion for your files. It is your proof of completing the course.

What do I need to bring to the class?
You will need to bring a photo ID. IF Traffic Survival School has been Court-assigned a copy of the Court order is required.

Will there be breaks?
Yes, this applies to the day classes only. The evening classes do not have scheduled breaks since each night lasts four hours. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks to class.

Will TSS take points off of my driving record?
NO. TSS is not a Defensive Driving School, which is an alternative offered by the courts for violations that incur 2 or 3 points. However, If you have already paid the fine for your violation, you have lost the option to attend a Defensive Driving Class for that violation.

Please note that attendance at Traffic Survival School is mandated by the MVD (Motor Vehicle Division) and must be completed within 60 days of receiving your notice. If you fail to attend, your license will be suspended.
